im sure its been asked before..

but has anoyone actually been successful in unpainting a shell?

what did you use, and how did it turn out?

did mine with nitromoors paint stripper
do a small area at a time, paint it on,wipe old paint off and rinse with warm soapy water straight away
don't leave it for more than a few seconds as it will melt the plastic :wink:

Last year,i used brake fluid & a kitchen sponge to remove paint from my shell for a light project,worked a treat, but like everything else, experiment on something 1st.

thanks for the link.. i think the guy on the video probably gave up at the end lol!.. its a lot of work and i bet the shell was cloudy after all that scrubbing with the sponge.
