That looks very similar to the fg leopard one, so it may be meant for the fg onroads (longer chassis ones?)

The Samba 3 is a great pipe & produce loads of power, I have a modified one fitted to my Elcon Cleon & previously had a modified one fitted to my Lauterbacher SuperX. They where manufactured to fit FG touring cars with lay down engines or any other touring car that used this configuration. 2 versions where available, one for 535 & a short one for 510 cars. There are better pipes now for touring cars, but many people use the Samba 3 in there offroad cars as it produces loads of power & lets the engine rev :P They also sound awesome :P

Let Rob have a look at it, sure he will be able to make a manifold.


Elcon Cleon, Hormann HT2, Alro engines, Nomadio React.

is that a genuine samba pipe? it looks to have very poor quality welding and steel :?:

Yes its an early Samba 3, as it has a label rather then the name stamped in the steel.
